CVS Can’t Control Birthing of Bad PR

CVS pharmacy has charged over 11,000 women illegally for birth control. According to the affordable care act, if a woman has health care coverage they don’t have to pay for birth control. Apparently CVS had a price coding error that led to this blunder. CVS is refunding all women that were illegally charged and have already started sending the checks in the mail. They expect all woman to get the checks by October 1st. The bigger concern is over the women who may have opted not to buy the birth control since they were being charged. Birth control is very important to families and how they want to plan having children, having more children, or not having children at all.
